What’s Your Passion? A Topic You Could Discuss for Hours Unprepared

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to talk about something you truly love? It’s like the words flow effortlessly, fueled by enthusiasm and a deep connection to the topic. For me, that topic is photography.

When I get started, it’s as if I’ve turned into a broken water main—there’s no stopping the flood of excitement and ideas. Whether it’s finding the perfect angle for a real estate listing, capturing the delicate play of light in nature, or sharing tips with others, photography is my endless well of inspiration.

Just last week, I held a phone photography class for real estate agents. The goal? To help them take better listing photos for those lower-cost properties. I had an agenda to keep myself on track, ensuring I covered all the essentials in our one-hour session. And while the structure helped, I honestly didn’t need a script. When you’re passionate about something, it all just comes naturally.

I could have talked for hours about lighting tricks, framing techniques, and how to make a space look inviting with just the right angle. Sharing that knowledge felt like second nature because photography isn’t just my profession—it’s my passion.

When you’re passionate, people can see it in your eyes, hear it in your voice, and feel it in the energy you bring to the conversation. It’s contagious, and it creates connections.

So, here’s my question for you:
What’s your passion? What could you talk about for hours without a single note? Is it a hobby, a skill, or something you’ve experienced? I’d love to hear about it. Hit comment and share—let’s inspire each other!

As for me, whether I’m guiding agents to take better photos, exploring breathtaking landscapes, or capturing the beauty of everyday moments, photography will always be my favorite topic. And I’m more than happy to keep the conversation going.
