Easy Wax Seal

In Latin, it was called a signum, meaning to “sign”. This is where we get our modern word “signature”. Romans wore an anulum, or ring, with their personal or family crest (or signum) for signing important documents in wax or clay tablets.

While this is a historical practice, it can be used in modern day to embellish hand written and mailed letters.
