Bacon Knots

While bacon is practically just perfect as is, why not kick it up a notch? These are great for dipping into all of those wonderful low carb dip recipes, or simply dunking into ranch dressing. I will often eat these for lunch, so they are not just an appetizer. They are very filling.

  • Bacon slices, I personally love thick sliced
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Parmesan cheese

Take a slice of bacon and tie it into a double knot. Lay them on a lined cookie sheet- I prefer these silicone reusable liners. Sprinkle with the seasonings, being gentle with the red pepper flakes. Don’t add the cheese yet!

Bake the knots at 425° for 10 min. Take them out and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake them for an additional 7 minutes, or until done.

Place them on a paper towel lined plate to absorb excess grease. Now, dive in and enjoy!
