KETO Hamburger Steak with Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 Egg
  • ⅛ tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms, fresh or canned- optional
  • Water
  • Brown Gravy Mix

Directions

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into patties.

Preheat oven to 350′. On your stove top, heat a large black iron skillet to med/high heat, but not real high heat. Add your patties. You want to brown each side, but not cook them all the way through. If you have more than what will fit in your skillet, remove the browned ones to a plate temporarily till you get all browned. When complete with all patties, add them all back to the skillet, overlapping edges if necessary. I like to stack mine like fallen over dominoes when there are too many to lay flat out. Now, layer on your slices of onions over the top. You can also add in mushrooms if you like.

Now, in a separate bowl, mix up your water and brown gravy according to the directions. Make more watery than thick because it will thicken as it is cooked. Pour your gravy mixture over the onions and hamburger steak. Place your skillet of beef in the oven and back till they are done. This will depend on the thickness. Mine usually take about 20 minutes. Once done, you can add cheese to the top if your family likes them that way (mine does).

The number of net carbs will depend on how much onion you eat and the number of carbs in your brown gravy. The rest of the ingredients are ZERO. I usually am able to have a serving for around 3 carbs.
